Our aim is improve understanding of autism spectrum disorders through education, and to help families find the support that they need. After a thorough assessment of current functioning, we answer all your questions and work with you to find solutions. Applied behavior analysis

ABA is the most widely recognized form of treatment for autism & associated developmental disorders. It is an essential part all of our individualized behavior treatment plans.

ABA focuses on increasing language and communication skills, improving social skills and academics, while decreasing problem behaviors.

Early start denver model

ESDM is a behavioral therapy for children with autism between ages 12-48 months of age.

ESDM is a comprehensive evidence-based approach. ESDM is play-based and made to be fun and enjoyable. Through well designed activities and play, the child is encouraged to boost language, social, and cognitive skills.

Certified ESDM therapists are trained with a multi-step process, and we are proud to utilize the early start Denver model at BrightPath.

Parent training

Parent training and family consultation is an incredibly important part of a successful treatment plan. We offer encouraging and supportive parent training after initial assessment and screening sessions.

Consultations typically begin with direct observation in your home setting when possible. Parent training helps you understand the function of your child’s behavior and how it is affected by the environment. Together, we create a plan to teach you techniques and strategies that help reduce problem behaviors and increase desired ones.

Parent training/consulting is offered not only to families with children with autism but also for those with typically developing children who may also benefit from behavior therapy. Schedule a call today.

School assistance and Consultation

We have experience in school and academic settings. We are available for in-school assessments, 1:1 support, and staff training. BCBA consultation and mentoring of BCBA’s in training is also available upon request.

We can arrange for services to be provided in the home, school, and community settings when possible. After the assessment is completed, the BCBA will recommend the number of hours of therapy.
