Sahar faramarzi, ma, bcba, lba

Sahar is a dedicated mother and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who has been passionate about working with children from an early age.

During her studies she grew fascinated with applied behavior analysis (ABA) and the impact that early intervention can have on the lives of children with autism. Sahar eventually fell in love with the science of human behavior and has dedicated her professional career to applying her expertise to improve the lives of children with behavioral disorders. Sahar has been working in the field in various capacities for over 15 years now.

Sahar's academic credentials include a master's degree in Psychology and comprehensive coursework in ABA from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her training provided her with invaluable clinical exposure, including work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and developmental disorders. At the Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI) in Baltimore, Maryland, she served as a behavior data specialist, offering assessment and treatment to patients exhibiting severe problem behaviors. During her time at the Ivymount School in Rockville, Maryland, Sahar worked as a behavior specialist in a self-contained classroom, supporting students navigating challenging behaviors.

Most recently, Sahar was overseeing the early intervention autism clinic at Children’s Medical Center, Dallas. Her credentials extend to being a certified therapist in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) approach, further enriching her toolkit for delivering impactful interventions.

After several years of training and honing her clinical skills, Sahar is now pursuing a long time dream of starting her own private practice. Her goal is now simply to use her knowledge and experiences to enrich the quality of life of her clients and their families.

When she's not immersed in her work, Sahar finds joy in traveling alongside her husband and their two young daughters.
